This commemorative challenge coin honors "Pardo’s Push," the daring act of heroism during the Vietnam War when Capt. Bob Pardo used his F-4 Phantom to push a crippled wingman’s jet to safety mid-air. One side depicts the dramatic in-flight maneuver, while the other bears the emblems of the River Rats and of the 433rd Tactical Fighter Squadron, with the words "To Fly and Fight, and Don't You Forget it" inscribed around them.
