River Rats F-105 Thunderchief Challenge Coin Keychain

This challenge coin keychain comes from the grassroots fundraising campaign that brought F-105 Thunderchief airframe 63-8343 to Aviation Heritage Park. The campaign's slogan was "There is a way," and it worked: the aircraft is now here. The front shows the F-105 logo, an F-105 silhouette with a lightning bolt crossing the T in "Thunderchief," above "REPUBLIC F-105" and the aircraft's tail number. The back repeats the logo in yellow with "THERE IS A WAY" beneath it, then the River Rats (Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association) and Aviation Heritage Park logos side by side, and a head-on F-105 silhouette below.
